Why we built it
We built it because nothing else could run our shop
SendWrench was founded by Kevin Kubinak, owner of Full Send Diesel LLC in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
What we were up against
The work that broke every tool we tried
Full Send Diesel is a repair shop in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. It is also a manufacturing company that builds trucks most people would not attempt, and then gives them away.
The repair side grew faster than anything we had to run it on. More technicians. More bays. More trucks in the building at once, and the kind of work that does not fit a template: intricate diagnostics, engine and transmission jobs that live in a bay for weeks, builds where half the parts are not in any labor guide.
Nothing on the market was built for this
We tried the software everyone recommends. It is written for shops turning tickets: get the vehicle in, get it out, move to the next one. That is a real business, and those tools are good at it. It is not our business.
The gap showed up everywhere. Work orders that could not hold eight concerns on one truck without becoming a mess. No sane way to track a core until the credit landed. Estimates that assumed a labor guide had an entry for what we were doing.
The question we could not answer
Did that technician make money last week?
Not whether he looked busy. Whether the hours he billed covered the hours we paid him to be here. In a shop where one job occupies a bay for three weeks and a diagnostic can eat a day before anything gets written down, that is the entire business. We could not get the number out of the software we were paying for, and without it we were scaling on feel.
So we built it
Not as a product. As the thing our own counter needed. Technicians clock onto the job rather than the day. Booked hours sit next to actual hours while the work is happening. Hours that got billed with no time behind them show up instead of disappearing. Performance pay has real numbers underneath it, so the conversation with a tech is about evidence rather than opinion.
It replaced our old system. Our service manager runs the counter on it with customers on the phone, every day.
Why we are selling it
Every diesel and performance shop we talk to describes the same problems in the same words. They are all running tools built for somebody else's kind of work.
So SendWrench is deliberately narrow. It is for light and medium-duty diesel and performance shops. It is not for a tire shop, it is not for a quick lube, and it is not an accounting package. We would rather do one thing properly for shops like ours than ten things adequately for everyone.
How we work
What you can expect
Built by users, still
Every change ships into our own shop first. If it makes our counter slower, it does not ship to yours.
We will tell you no
If your shop is not a fit, or something you need is missing, you hear it on the call and not in month two.
No lock-in
Month to month, full data export whenever you want it. We would rather earn next month than trap you in this one.
Sound like your shop?
We are opening to a few diesel and performance shops at a time.
